Every garage in Britain contains a lawnmower that does not start, tins of paint from a house two owners ago, and timber kept in case it becomes useful. It never becomes useful. We clear garages, sheds, lofts and cellars down to the swept floor.

Garage loads are the most mixed loads we carry, which is fine. Metals are stripped for scrap, timber is chipped, electricals go to WEEE treatment, and dry paint tins can travel as general waste. Liquid paint and chemicals need a word with us first, some we can take, some need a licensed carrier.

We take

  • Garage, shed, loft and cellar contents
  • Broken tools, mowers and bikes
  • Timber offcuts and old doors
  • Dried out paint tins and empty containers

Worth knowing

  • Liquid paint, fuel, oils and chemicals, ask us first
  • Gas bottles, these go back to the supplier scheme
  • Stairs without a lift are £20 per flight, everything else is included
  • You get photo confirmation once it's gone

Garage and shed clearance questions

Can you take old paint?

Dry or solidified paint yes. Liquid paint is classed as hazardous, so either dry it out with sand or paint hardener, or ask us about a licensed hazardous collection.

Do I need to sort anything before you come?

No sorting needed, mixed loads are normal for garages. Just flag anything hazardous when you book, gas bottles, fuel and chemicals mainly.

How long does a garage clearance take?

A single garage is usually under an hour with a two person crew. You point, we carry, and we sweep it out at the end.
